CHING-CHING YU, Ph.D.

游景晴博士

Ching-Ching Yu studied chemistry at National Chang-Hua University of Education (國立彰化師範大學), Taiwan. He received his Master’s degree in 2007 and Ph.D in 2012 with Dr. Chun-Cheng Lin (林俊成博士) at National Tsing-Hua University (國立清華大學), Taiwan. During his Ph.D., he performed short research projects in the group of Dr. Yasuhiro Kajihara (梶原康弘博士) at Osaka University (大阪大學), Japan, and the group of Dr. Stephen Withers at the University of British Columbia (英屬哥倫比亞大學), Canada. Prior to joining the faculty in National Chung-Cheng University (國立中正大學) in 2015, he spend one year in NTHU as a postdoctoral research fellow in 2013, and then was awarded the postdoctoral research fellowship of the Ministry of Science and Technology (科技部), Taiwan, to work with Stephen Withers at UBC in 2014. After seven years independent research in CCU (2015-2022), Dr. Yu then moved NTHU to continue his organic biochemistry studies. He is now an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at NTHU.
